Legislative Wellness Day

The next Legislative Wellness Day is scheduled for Tuesday, February 14, 2006, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the State House Hall of Flags.  The day will feature no-cost fitness and health risk appraisals (blood pressure, cholesterol, body composition, a computerize health risk assessment, diabetes risk quiz, flexibility, grip strength, and lung function) and a wide range of material on physical activity as well as other heart healthy programs.

The purpose of the annual Legislative Fitness Day is to educate and increase awareness of the importance of healthy lifestyles for Maine's children and adults.
